Job summary

CoStar Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Sales Finance team. You will assist in calculating and paying sales commissions for over 1,300 salespeople and support FP&A responsibilities.

Your role includes monthly reporting, forecasting commission expense, improving communication of commission plans, and maintaining documentation and sales force communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years in corporate finance, accounting, or sales finance/operations.
• Strong Excel skills; able to communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales commissions month over month, year over year, and for ad hoc reports.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Sales Leadership on monthly commission reporting and forecasting.
• Assist design and creation of yearly commission plans and new plans as needed.
• Partner with sales leadership and finance/HR on incentive plan analyses and maintain quality controls.
• Maintain comprehensive commission plan documentation.
• Maintain communications to explain commission plans to the sales force.
• Create ad hoc reports/analysis for business unit heads and executive management.
