Job summary

Cape Cod Exchange in Buzzards Bay, MA is seeking a Sales Clerk Leader to welcome customers, share product knowledge, and support merchandise selection.

You will help manage the sales floor, assist with pricing, stock levels, and front-end duties, including training staff and handling cash.

This role emphasizes service, accuracy, and teamwork, with opportunities for supervisory responsibilities and growth within the store.

Qualifications

• 1. Prior retail experience in inventory control and retail sales.
• 2. Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge and help with the selection of merchandise.
• Responsible for overall operations of sale department including stock checks and price changes.
• Operate cash register, handle cash and card transactions, and maintain accurate cash records.
• May direct/supervise other employees and assist in opening/closing the store.
