Cape Cod Exchange in Buzzards Bay, MA is seeking a Sales Clerk Leader to oversee sales operations and provide outstanding customer service. The role includes welcoming customers, maintaining product knowledge, handling cash, and assisting with merchandise selection.

The ideal candidate has prior retail experience, cash register familiarity, and may supervise staff. This is a full-time position with a 30-40 hour schedule and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, plus benefits under USCG Community

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience in inventory control and retail sales is required.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds; stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge, and assist in merchandise selection.
• Oversee sales department operations, price changes, stock monitoring, and store signage.
• Operate cash register, handle payments, balance cash, and maintain security of funds.
• Direct or supervise other employees and prepare for opening/closing.
• Follow loss prevention policies and safety standards.
