Courtyard San Diego Mission Valley/Hotel Circle is seeking a highly energetic Sales Manager to join our TEAM. You will partner with our Operations TEAM to drive revenue and exceed sales goals for the property in the San Diego market.

The ideal candidate will know the city market, have a proven track record of growing revenue and market share, and bring an analytical mindset. This is a full-time, on-site role with a comprehensive benefits package and travel discounts.

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree from an accredited institution is desired.
• Marriott brand experience preferred.
• Catering experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement: Actively promote and represent the hotel's services and facilities to potential clients and customers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

Revenue Generation: Trough active prospecting and customer retainment efforts, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and exceed individual revenue targets within designated market segments.

Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering loyalty and repeat business

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a Hotel Sales Manager. Marriott brand preferred. Catering experience preferred.
• Education: A four-year college degree from an accredited institution is desired.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and and Hospitality CRM system (STS, Delphi ect.)
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including timely follow-up on tentative business and development of new opportunities.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a competitive environment and manage interpersonal conflicts professionally.

The salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
