Job summary

North Point Hospitality in Nashville Downtown is seeking an entry-level role to launch a career in hospitality sales and events. You’ll work directly with Catering and Sales teams, coordinating weddings, corporate meetings, banquets, and special events at one of downtown Nashville’s premier hotels.

If you’re organized, customer-focused, and eager to grow, we’ll provide training, mentorship, and career development.

Qualifications

• Organize and coordinate multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client interactions.
• Eager to learn and grow in hospitality sales and events.
• Experience in hospitality, catering, or events is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating all aspects of catering events, including meetings, weddings, banquets, and conferences.
• Communicate with clients to confirm event details (menus, timelines, room setup, guest count).
• Assist in preparing banquet event orders (BEOs) and distribute them to relevant departments.
• Liaise with kitchen, banquet staff, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Assist in menu planning and accommodate dietary restrictions or special requests.
• Maintain detailed records of events, contracts, and client communications.
• Handle last-minute changes or issues professionally and efficiently.
• Support post-event follow-up, including posting banquet charges and collecting deposits.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office required; Delphi FDC experience is a bonus

North Point Hospitality was started in 1978 and is located in Atlanta, Georgia. We build high‑quality hotels in popular areas. Over the years, we’ve worked with big hotel companies like Hilton and Marriott to create these projects. So far, we’ve built 38 hotels from the ground up, investing over $600 million. Today, we own and manage 9 hotels in the Southeast, including 8 that are part of the Hilton and Marriott brands. We’re also working on 5 more hotels that are either being built or planned.

The pay range for this role is: $20 – $23 USD dependent upon experience and education
