Job Summary:

A technology consulting practice requires an energetic Sales Business Development Consultant to generate demand for Solutions4Business solutions and services and act as the first contact for many prospects.

Job Description:

  • The primary focus of a Sales Business Development Consultant is to generate demand for Solutions4Business solutions and services through a mix of inbound calls and outbound prospecting within an assigned territory or vertical.
  • As a Sales Business Development Representative you will act as the first contact for many prospects in Solutions4Business business with inbound telemarketing calls.
  • Qualifies Solutions4Business prospects and produces quality leads for the Solutions4Business Consulting Sales Force.
  • Performs database and record-keeping activities.
  • Ability to demonstrate time management, telesales skills and knowledge of Solutions4Business products and services (training provided). Goal-oriented individual with superior communication skills.
  • Ability to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Solutions4Business services and datatooth products preferred.
  • Support business development function—Offer support to managers in proposal development, engagement letter development, client correspondence, and monitor/update sales pipeline.
  • Provide internal support—Provide internal support to partners and managers as needed.
  • Desire for a long-term career in sales preferred. Two years relevant business experience preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in any field from a Tier 1 university.
  • Able to demonstrate multi-tasking skills and capability to work effectively in both dynamic international and local environments.
  • Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, senior management teams, as well as key personnel in business units.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong written and oral presentation skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting or software sales industry is a plus.
