Job summary

Kohler Co. in Kohler, WI is seeking a Sales Associate I for an onsite, seasonal, part-time role at Whistling Straits shop. You will assist guests, promote products, handle ringing and returns, and help keep the store organized and welcoming.

Shifts run weekdays and weekends between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm; applicants must be authorized to work in the US. The hourly range is $12.40–$18.60, with eligibility for benefits and company programs.

• Tag new merchandise and prepare items for floor display.

Sales Associate, Whistling Straits

Work Mode: Onsite

**Location:** Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Under general supervision, the Sales Associate I will provide guest assistance with the selection, recommendation, purchase and/or return/exchange of products. This position will ensure cleanliness of the store through routine cleaning, straightening, folding, stocking, dusting, vacuuming, etc.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet, welcome and assist all guests on their purchasing needs and educate them on the products and services provided.
• Assist in overall organization of store by making sure that size runs are complete and merchandise is in the proper location and folded or hung neatly.
• Continually learn more about products carried in the shop through vendor presentations and supervisor/associate meetings.
• Assist in maintenance of store: Cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, glass and window cleaning, sweeping, garbage removal, etc.
• Suggestive sell our retail offerings, in-shop promotions and inform guests of events.
• Cashiering and finalizing the Sale: opening and closing of register, ringing sales (cash, credit card, gift certificate, room charges etc), processing coupons, discounts, markdowns, and end-of-day reports.
• Assist in checking in shipments and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist with physical Inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Assist with tagging of new merchandise and preparing merchandise for store floor.
• Be knowledgeable about and be able to promote the Destination Kohler Resort and the Village of Kohler: van service, directions, restaurants and menus, hours of operations etc.
• Complete other tasks assigned within job scope.

This is a seasonal part-time position working weekdays and weekends with shifts varying between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm.

The hourly range for this position is $12.40 - $18.60. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
