Sales Associate I, Woodlake Market

Opportunity

The Sales Associate I plays a keyrole in delivering a premium shopping experience by maintaining well-stocked,visually appealing shelves and providing knowledgeable, personalized service. This position supports the store’s commitment to quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh, high-quality products
• Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste
• Maintain visually appealing and organized displays that reflect the store’s upscale brand
• Greet and assist customers with product inquiries and locations
• Keep store clean, safe, and clutter-free
• Ensure shelves are dust-free and products are front-faced and properly labeled
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of work areas, equipment, and common spaces to maintain a safe, organized, and hygienic environment
• Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., produce, guest services, deli)
• Support store events, promotions, and seasonal merchandising efforts
• Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about new products and store standards
• Follow dress code and grooming standards that reflect the upscale environment
• Will complete all duties and requests as assigned by management

This is a casual part-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Previous retail or grocery experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and push a floor scrubber
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

The hourly range for this position is $12.40 - $18.60. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
