Job summary

Goodwill NCW in Wisconsin is seeking a Retail Team Member to support store operations, assist customers, process transactions, and maintain merchandising standards.

You will handle cash, educate customers about the Round Up and Good Points programs, restock shelves, and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. This role requires reliability, English fluency, basic math, and occasional evening or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.
• Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate a cash register and accurately count money.
• Basic math skills required.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with computers or a willingness and ability to learn.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular and timely attendance in accordance with the assigned work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customer satisfaction by efficiently and accurately scanning tickets and processing payment while following cash handling standards.
• Educates customers on Round Up program to achieve program goals.
• Informs customers on Good Points program to achieve program goals.
• Operates telephone including professionally answering calls and operating the paging system.
• Ensures items are properly displayed, pulled, and restocked in alignment with merchandising standards and leadership guidance.
• Assists customers in locating items when possible or seeks assistance for the customer if unable to help.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; completes opening/closing checklists and supports general cleaning, including parking lot maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
