Job summary

Lumber Liquidators in Lexington, KY is seeking a part-time sales associate to help customers select flooring, manage the showroom, and operate POS systems. Base pay is $15.00 per hour plus monthly commission with no cap.

Responsibilities include selling and upselling, building relationships, merchandising, and handling daily store operations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of retail or sales experience preferred; flooring knowledge a plus.
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a bonus.
• Forklift certification required prior to operation.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Sell, upsell, and exceed revenue targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Build lasting relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
• Merchandise and maintain an inspiring, organized showroom.
• Handle POS transactions, inventory management, and daily store operations.
• Resolve customer questions and issues quickly and professionally.
• Participate in promotional events and special projects to boost sales.
