Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Sales Associate/Customer Service Team Leader to greet customers, handle transactions, and ensure 100% customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist with shift changes, process money orders and lottery transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean store.

The role requires basic math skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

18 years of age or older.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).
Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store and provide fast, efficient service.
Ring customer sales using an electronic cash register; receive money and give correct change; process refunds for exchanges as needed.
Assist with shift changes by counting money in cash drawer at the beginning and end of a shift.
Process specialty products (money orders, credit card purchases, checks, lottery sales).
Check identification for restricted sales.
Stock shelves and replenish stock; rotate merchandise; price according to price book.
Clean and sanitize equipment and areas; maintain cleanliness of counters, floors, restrooms, and parking lots.
Check in vendor deliveries as needed and complete bad merchandise forms.
Monitor cash levels and security procedures during shifts; ensure compliance.
Assume other duties to accommodate store operational needs.
