Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes and markdowns
3. Balancing the register according to company policy
4. Calling out prices for customers during transactions
5. Bagging merchandise efficiently
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
8. Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping
9. Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, fitting room policies, timely ringing, thanking customers, and inviting return visits
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting with merchandising based on stock levels
13. Supporting management with various tasks as requested
14. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
15. Assisting with Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, and reporting theft or dishonesty
