Overview

Sales Associates are to greet and thank every customer who enters and leaves the store. They must be knowledgeable of all product lines and responsible for maintaining a neat, clean store with properly displayed merchandise. Sales staff will support management with price changes, display resets, and visual standards to ensure the store remains appealing.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the "Cavender's Culture" by embodying our Mission, Vision, and Values
• Provide friendly, courteous customer service using professional selling techniques
• Avoid high-pressure sales tactics
• Maximize sales opportunities with each customer
• Stay informed about the latest western wear fashion trends
• Keep the work area organized and clean
• Understand CBC policies and procedures
• Stay updated on sales promotions
• Assist with stocking and store organization
• Report promptly and maintain neat grooming
• Remain security conscious at all times
• Ensure products are correctly signed and displayed, especially in the boot department
• Handle customer exchanges knowledgeably
• Respond effectively to customer inquiries regarding products and promotions
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet company goals (e.g., ADS, UPT, contests)
