Objective/Mission
As an Ambassador of the Maison, he/she achieves and exceeds sales targets as directed by management and proactively develops his/her client portfolio. He/she ensures a unique client experience throughout all touch points. He/she is also an active participant in the daily operations of the boutique.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve and/or exceed the monthly sales target as directed by management.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining high standards and demonstrating solid product knowledge before, during and after sales.
- Adapt approach according to the client’s needs and motivations, negotiate and handle objections with ease.
- Assist and support after‑sales clients in accordance with Maison values and act as a referent, providing recommendations for an exceptional experience.
- Remain current on industry news and competitor activity.
- Cultivate new and existing client relationships through exceptional service and Maison‑specific CRM initiatives, partnering with Management to develop a plan for clients and prospects.
- Capture client data accurately for follow‑up and relationship building, utilizing available tools.
- Resolve client issues/concerns appropriately and, when needed, elevate to Management.
- Partner with Management to support and participate in in‑store and off‑site events and networking.
- Understand and comply with all security and operational policies and procedures for the Group, Maison and boutique.
- Assist with daily set‑up and breakdown of the boutique, and communicate any maintenance issues.
- Help with merchandising, daily maintenance of displays and back‑stock.
- Participate in daily and annual inventories and cycle counts to prepare for audits.
- Assist with special projects (e.g., price changes, supporting back‑office responsibilities, etc.).
Job Profile
Education: College degree preferred.
Required Experience
Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays consistently in addition to one weekday. 2 to 5 years of previous experience in luxury retail.
Technical Skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail store environment.
- Computer and internet savvy; MS Office experience required; SAP knowledge preferred.
Personal Skills & Abilities
- Additional language skills are a plus.
- General knowledge of timepiece movements preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Customer Service needs and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Genuine Maison Ambassador; uphold Cartier image with a professional demeanor at all times.
- Self‑starter with a team‑player approach.
- Must be available to work retail hours, including weekends, and to travel for trainings, client events, conferences.

Expected hourly range: $26‑$29 per hour (commission and overtime eligible). Salaries will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
