Job description

Location: Remote (U.S.-based, with regular in-field travel)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Sales Associate to support a dynamic and mission-driven EdTech sales team. In this role, you will partner closely with a designated Account Executive (AE) to drive growth in a defined territory. From prospecting and pipeline management to event coordination and client presentations, you’ll be instrumental in helping educators discover and adopt impactful digital learning solutions.

This remote position requires regular travel—up to 75% depending on territory—including client visits, trade shows, and events. You’ll report directly to a Regional Sales Executive Director and work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with an Account Executive to support sales strategy, client engagement, and territory development
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients and identify new prospects
  • Support the AE with pipeline management, quote building, and account coordination
  • Prepare and co-facilitate client presentations (live and virtual)
  • Attend conferences, training sessions, webinars, and sales calls
  • Travel regularly for field-based meetings and events (25%–75%)
  • Respond to client questions on product features, pricing, and implementation
  • Generate and submit detailed sales activity reports
  • Co-negotiate contracts and support promotional campaigns
  • Maintain Salesforce records with accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate on marketing collateral and regional visibility efforts
  • Stay informed on EdTech trends and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business or education) and 2+ years of sales support experience
  • OR 2+ years of experience in K–12 education or EdTech
  • OR an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Professional presence and confidence presenting to school leaders
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including overnights and occasional weekends
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record (past 39 months), and auto insurance

Preferred:

  • Experience in K–12 education, SaaS, or EdTech sales
  • Prior work in a quota-carrying sales team environment
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce CRM platforms
  • Fingerprint clearance (may be required based on territory)
