Job summary

Goodwill NCW Jobs in Marshfield, WI is seeking a full-time Store Associate to welcome customers, scan purchases, and maintain clean, organized backroom and sales floors.

You will help with restocking, assist customers in locating items, operate the cash register, and participate in opening and closing procedures. A flexible schedule including holidays and weekends is required. Previous retail or cash handling experience is preferred; fluent English required; reliable transportation a must.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.
• Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate a cash register and accurately count money.
• Basic math skills required.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with computers or willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customer satisfaction by efficiently and accurately scanning tickets and processing payment while following cash handling standards.
• Educates customers on Round Up program to achieve program goals.
• Informs customers on GoodPoints program to achieve program goals.
• Operates telephone including professionally answering calls and operating the paging system.
• Ensures items are properly displayed, pulled, and restocked in alignment with merchandising standards and leadership guidance.
• Assists customers in locating items when possible or seeks assistance for the customer if unable to help.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; completes opening/closing checklists and supports general cleaning, including parking lot maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
