Social Media Associate (Life Sciences)

We are seekinga creative, social-media–driven Marketing & Content Associate with a background in the life sciences to help grow our brand presence and create educational content directly from the lab. This role is ideal for someone with social media experience and/or if you have worked in a laboratory, understands scientific testing, and are excited to translate that knowledge into engaging digital content for our social media platforms

You will support marketing efforts across two laboratory locations, create educational and promotional content (including lab-based social media), and represent the company at trade shows and industry events, engaging directly with clients and prospects.

This is a great opportunityfor a recent graduate (1–4 years experience) who enjoys science, creativity, and communication, and wants to grow in a marketing-focused role within the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

• Create engaging social media content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn) featuring lab work, testing processes, and educational topics.
• Develop short-form educational content that explains laboratory testing in a clear, approachable way.
• Capture photos and videos in the lab while following safety and quality guidelines.
• Help maintaina consistent brandvoice and visual presence across platforms.

Brand & Marketing Support

• Support digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and visibility.
• Assist with basic marketing materials (presentations, flyers, website content, email campaigns).
• Collaborate with leadership to highlight new services, capabilities, and lab milestones.

Trade Shows & Client Interaction

• Support and attend trade shows and industry events.
• Assistwith booth setup, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.

Cross-Location Support

• Work with teams across two lab locations to capture content and ensure consistent messaging.
• Coordinate with lab staff to identifygood opportunities for educational and promotional content.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of laboratory experience (academic or industry).
• Strong interest in marketing, content creation, and social media.
• Comfortable being on camera and creating video content.
• Basic understanding of laboratory testing and scientific concepts.
• Strong communicationand organizational skills.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows or between locations.

Compensation is competitive - Salary range: $40,000–$55,000+ per year, depending on experience.
