GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters store. This role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Utilizes optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
3. Assists patients in the selection of frames and coordinates frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the perfect vision solution.
4. Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with Optician as needed.
5. Participates in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintains the appearance of the store, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Promotes an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic math skills
4. Embraces new technology and adapts with high accuracy
5. Ability to sell using sales skills and meet sales goals
6. Strong communication skills (oral and written)
7. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a changing environment
