General Function

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience. This role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Deliver sales plans and objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements.
4. Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
5. Contribute to a positive store environment and maintain store appearance.
6. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Ability to embrace new technology and adapt with high accuracy
• Strong sales and communication skills
• Self-motivated with multi-tasking abilities and flexibility
