Job summary

Caleres Inc. is seeking a Customer-Focused Sales Associate at our Famous Footwear location in Kittery, ME. You will keep the store clean, organized, and stocked, assist customers with shoe selections, and ensure a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

You will work closely with the Store Sales Manager, apply flexible scheduling, and participate in training to grow with the company. Our team emphasizes inclusivity, customer connection, and delivering the Famous Feeling daily.

Qualifications

• Must build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Excellent communication with associates at all levels.
• Demonstrates independent judgment when partnering with Store Sales Manager.
• Solid working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in and the store is clean and organized.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and help customers find the styles they crave.
• Review store performance and contribute to meeting sales goals with proactive, timely communication.
