Job summary

Drybar Shops in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Front Desk Associate to be the first friendly face guests see and to help curate an exceptional Drybar experience. You will manage bookings, process payments, and assist clients while maintaining a fast, friendly service standard.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a busy salon environment. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities within a fun, beauty-focused brand.

Qualifications

• Open availability required for shifts.
• 1+ year of experience in fast-paced, customer-facing roles.
• Experience with POS systems is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

What You’ll Do

As a Front Desk Associate, you’ll help keep the salon running smoothly while ensuring every guest feels welcomed and taken care of. You’ll:

• Create a warm, welcoming experience for every client from the moment they arrive

• Manage appointments, check-ins, check-outs, and transactions

• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

You’re someone who is naturally friendly, organized, solutions-oriented, and passionate about customer service. You bring energy to the front desk and enjoy making people feel welcome.

Qualifications

• Open availability is required

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced, customer-service-focused environment, such as:

  • Sales Associate

  • Retail Sales Associate

  • Customer Service Representative

  • Store Associate

  • Salon Associate

  • Or a similar customer-facing role

• Previous point-of-sale (POS) system experience strongly preferred

• Previous salon or spa experience is a plus, but not required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work comfortably and effectively at a sustained, fast pace

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service

• Ability to multitask with ease and stay organized in a busy environment

• Comfortable standing and/or walking for the duration of 6–8 hour shifts

• Technical ability and confidence using point-of-sale systems and other front desk technology

• Strong judgment and resourcefulness when resolving client or front desk issues

• Ability to remain professional, positive, and composed under pressure
