Job summary

Voltus, a leading platform connecting distributed energy resources to electricity markets, seeks a Sales Associate to join the Sales Associate Development program. You’ll learn to cold call prospects, promote Voltus’s value, and work with Sales Directors to set meetings and close deals that bring value to customers and the grid.

Qualifications

• Based in the United States.
• 6–12 months of inside sales experience.
• Strong sales aptitude with the drive to prospect.
• Top-notch communication in person, in writing, and in presentations.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to explain high-tech concepts; interest in energy markets is a plus.
• Solid time management and self-motivation.
• Strong networking and rapport-building abilities.
• Willingness to give and receive feedback for the team’s success.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Google Suite.
• Passion for clean energy and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales Managers and Directors to set sales meetings.
• Prospect for new business, build relationships with decision-makers, and report on activity.
• Identify and develop new prospects from multiple sources.
• Meet or exceed sales objectives for the energy market.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to identify sales opportunities.
