Job summary

La Garçonne in Tribeca is seeking a well-rounded Sales Associate / Cashier for a part-time or full-time role with experience in high-end designer merchandise. You will manage the POS, process transactions, restock, steam, and help maintain the floor presentation to the brand’s luxury standard.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in luxury fashion, strong interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset, with availability for varied hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage POS and all sales transactions at the register.
• Assist with daily operations: check in new merchandise, steam, restock floor items.
• Assist sales associates with clients to meet brand standards.
• Maintain sales floor standards: evenly spaced merchandise, neatly folded items, and organized stock/storage areas.
• Assist with inventory, special events and projects as needed.

OVERVIEW

La Garconne is seeking a well-rounded Sales Associate Cashier on a part-time/full-time basis, experienced with high-end designer merchandise for its Tribeca store.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary focus is managing the POS and handling all sales transactions at the register.
• Assist withdaily operations i.e., check in new merchandise, steam, restock sold items on the floor, etc.
• Assist Sales Associateswith clients to accommodate their needs and wants - always maintaining the brand’s high standards.
• Always maintain the standards of the sales floor - evenly spaced hanging merchandise, folded items are uniform and correct - this also applies to all stock & storage areas.
• Assist with inventory, special events and special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience of 1-2years in high-end luxury fashion.
• Team oriented with a sensitivity to take initiative and help colleagues.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual a plus, but not necessary.
