Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers and provide personal, genuine service interactions.
• Drive sales by converting each interaction into a sales opportunity and building brand loyalty.
• Work collaboratively with team members and customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Listen attentively to understand customer needs and solve problems on first contact.
• Use POS, customer systems, and mobile devices to provide seamless, fast omni‑channel service.
• Promote L.L.Bean sponsored programs, such as Outdoor Discovery School and the L.L.Bean Mastercard program.
• Maintain visual and merchandising standards and support store operations.
• Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace by following all safety policies and procedures.

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk during shift; talk or hear, both in person and by headset.
• Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps; perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, or fingers.
• Lift 1 to 20 pounds alone; lift up to 40 pounds with team lift as needed; stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch.
