Description

The Sales Associate is responsible for managing and expanding our sales operations and revenue-generating processes in B2B cross-border payments within the defined market, focusing on Africa Trades.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding and prior experience with FinTech, sales, account planning, treasury management, and FX rates.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive sales efforts to maintain and grow revenue by developing and executing a detailed sales strategy that ensures scalable growth of a diverse and sustainable client portfolio with steady revenue streams.
  2. Generate scalable, repeatable, and predictable volume, net revenue, and gross profit.
  3. Align and optimize the entire customer experience to increase revenue.
  4. Focus on the sustainable acquisition of clients (Large Corporates, Mid-Size Corporates, and Fintechs) trading large volumes at target margins.
  5. Ensure the growth of a diversified, stable, and profitable client portfolio.
  6. Implement strategies to win and expand our client base, emphasizing our pooling business model.
  7. Collaborate regularly with internal teams such as marketing, partnerships & channels, revenue operations, product, compliance, finance, and treasury to optimize customer experience and align on growth strategies.
  8. Analyze and present data to internal stakeholders to inform business decisions and adapt tactics for profitable regional growth.
  9. Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline, ensuring proper planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the payments industry, focusing on B2B cross-border payments.
  • Proven success in B2B payment businesses within emerging markets.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and results.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
