Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Reno, NV is seeking a full-time team member to support daily operations at our construction supply store. You will stock merchandise, answer calls, pull orders, and operate the point-of-sale system to assist customers.

The ideal candidate has relatable experience, basic knowledge of construction materials, is a fast learner, detail-oriented, communicates clearly, and reliably shows up Monday through Friday for our customer base.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $14.00 To $20.00 Hourly

We are a Family Owned construction supply store dealing with many other businesses in the construction industry as well as the average consumer. We sell a wide variety of products for the jobsite like power tools, fasteners, safety equipment, accessories and much much more. On average we have a younger team than most of the companies in this industry with a lot of growth opportunity at all levels as the company continues to grow and improve.

We need someone to be a part of our team contributing to our daily operations. This would include checking and stocking merchandise and products, answering phone calls, pulling orders, running a point-of-sale system, and assisting customers to the best of your ability to help find solutions for their unique problems.

Some things we want:

• Previous experience that is relatable. (Good with computers and talking to customers on the phone/email)
• Some basic knowledge about construction materials. (There are tons of products to learn about so a base of information goes a long way but is not required, it's impossible to know everything)
• Fast learner. (with so many products and customers to learn about you need to be a sharp, quick learner with the patience and understanding that every customer has different needs)
• Attention to detail. (with so many part numbers it is very easy to make mistakes. Need to be good at being thorough and double checking your work, and never be afraid to ask questions!)
• Great communication
• Reliable (need someone that can consistently show up Monday-Friday like our customers do)

We are a fairly new business here in Reno but the company is nearing it's 20 year anniversary. If you want to be apart of our team here in town and contribute to a relatively new company then we may have a position for you!
