Job summary

Responsibilities

For nearly 30 years, the team has focused on expert craftsmanship and personalized service to create timeless pieces and meaningful customer experiences. The store emphasizes a relationship-driven approach, working closely with clients to understand their style, preferences, and special occasions. Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of our retail jewelry store while delivering the exceptional, personalized service for which Adamas Fine Jewelry is known. Retail experience is preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the opening & closing of the showroom each day, including setting up jewelry displays, and securely storing merchandise before closing
• Assisting customers with jewelry design, jewelry purchases while building trusted, long-term relationships
• Evaluating and appraising jewelry
• Assessing repair needs and providing pricing estimates
• Maintaining and taking responsibility for jewelry inventory
• Answering client and vendor calls, texts, and emails
• Scheduling appointments with clients and vendors
• Assisting the owners with various day-to-day tasks
• Maintaining showroom appearance throughout the day a clean
• Monitoring and replenishing store and jewelry supplies, such as boxes, bags, and bows
• Helping create content for the store’s social media channels

As a small, family-owned business with a close-knit team, flexibility and a hands-on attitude are essential. Every team member is expected to contribute wherever needed to support the store and help the business succeed.

Sales and Client Relationships

In addition to serving Adamas Fine Jewelry’s existing clients, this role is expected to cultivate new relationships and help bring new business to the store. We work collaboratively, and all sales are shared as a team.

Work Schedule

The typical workweek is approximately 37.5 to 40 hours. Additional hours may occasionally be required during busy seasons, special events, or unexpected circumstances.

• 2 week/10 working days vacation, one of which must fall in the first week of July (dates will vary annually) & 40 hours of paid sick time.
• 2 personal days
• You will also be eligible to participate in our 401k/pension. Details on this will be discussed upon hiring.
