Job summary

EXPRESS is looking for a Retail Sales Associate in Mercedes, Texas. The Sales Associate will provide excellent in-store shopping experiences, maintain store cleanliness, stock merchandise, and process transactions efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, up to 2 years of experience, and availability on nights and weekends. Benefits include medical coverage, a 401(k), merchandise discounts, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

Express is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate is responsible for providing a great in‑store shopping experience, assisting with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other tasks as directed.

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure safety.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company SOP.
• Deliver a great customer experience and process transactions quickly and accurately.
• Resolve customer service issues promptly and communicate resolutions to Store Management.
• Drive credit and loyalty member programs by explaining benefits and encouraging participation.
• Other essential functions may be assigned by your supervisor.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent.
• Years of experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience, minimum 6 months.
• Proficient with technology such as iPad and registers.
• Availability: nights, weekends, and non‑business hours.
• Meets physical requirements.
