Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a Tempur-Pedic Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while selling Tempur-Pedic products. This role may serve in a management capacity when the Store Manager is unavailable, including opening or closing the store and covering management duties.

You will join a team that emphasizes brand standards, customer care, and the sales process. Requires high school diploma, 1–3 years retail experience with luxury or custom products, and comfortable with retail

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process and uphold Tempur Sealy's brand.
• Continue to perform Retail Sales Associate duties at a high level.
• Support the Store Manager by identifying deficiencies and solving problems.
• Assist with merchandising and implementation of company programs.
• Address larger issues by escalating to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Tempur‑Pedic Sales Associate

Primary responsibility is to provide excellence in customer service while selling and marketing Tempur‑Pedic products. In addition, this individual will serve as a member of management when the Store Manager is not available. This could include opening and/or closing the store as well as covering the management duties.

Pay Range

The total estimated annual compensation, including base pay and incentives, is $40,000 - $60,000.

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care, maintaining a professional appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures, and in maintaining Tempur Sealy's brand.
• Continue to perform all the Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team.
• Assist the store manager with merchandising, implementing company programs, and other needs.
• Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years' retail experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with high‑end luxury and/or custom products
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards
• Demonstrated collaborator able to both lead and follow.
• Flexibility in work schedule reflecting the needs and patterns of store hours.
• Fluency with current retail software / computer systems
• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time and occasionally lift items with or without assistance.
