Job summary

Curtis Lumber is seeking experienced sales associates to join our Burlington store. The role involves taking phone calls, building quotes and orders for pickup or delivery, and assisting customers in-store with product knowledge and excellent service.

• Face-to-face, phone, and electronic sales with exceptional customer service.
• Understand the building materials marketplace and know product features.
• Ability to close sales and upsell to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Take phone calls and build quotes and orders for pickup or delivery.
• Assist customers in-store with needs, product information, and service excellence.
• Maintain store and back storage areas: upkeep, restocking, and cleanliness.
• Follow up on quotes and convert to orders; share expertise with the team.

Our store is looking to find experiencedhard working individuals to join our team ofSales Associates!

Our Sales team will take phone calls, build quotes and orders for pick up or delivery and assist with all customers’ needs as they enter the store. We're looking for an associate that is comfortable engaging in face to face, phone, and electronic sales while utilizing exceptional customer service and sales skills to meet or exceed company sales and margin goals. Our Counter Sales associates are also responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness, maintenance, restocking and more in the main store and back storage area(s).

$18 - $20 per hour with annual performance based raises!

• Full Time 40+ Hours per week- Set Schedule
• Understand the building materials marketplace and know product features
• Work to meet prospect customers’ needs - Excellent customer service skills
• Effective suggestive and upgrade selling and add on sales
• Effective closing technique
• Quote follow up- quote to order conversion
• Share expertise with others
• Discretionary profit share after one year of employment
