Airport Honda in Tennessee is seeking an Automotive Sales Associate to join the new car sales team. The role focuses on helping customers select vehicles, meeting sales goals, and explaining product benefits to prospects.

Responsibilities include test drives, qualification of customer needs, and daily performance review to improve efficiency. This position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Automotive sales experience preferred and track record of meeting sales goals.
• Strong customer service, organization and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to work in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers entering the dealership and help them choose a vehicle.
• Sell a minimum number of vehicles per sales manager goals.
• Explain product performance and options to prospects and determine needs.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly performance to improve time use and planning.
• Offer test drives and obtain proper identification prior to test drive.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
• Selling a minimum number of vehicles based on the goals and objectives defined by the sales manager
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
• Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively
• Offering test drives to all prospects and following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification prior to test drive

Requirements

• Automotive sales background preferred
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Strong written and communication skills
• Valid driver's license required and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
