Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the sales team in creating a world-class home buying experience. You will prospect, set appointments, greet visitors, demonstrate homes, and hand off leads to Sales Professionals.

This role offers an hourly wage of $18.00–$21.00, full-time schedule, and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k). You will work in a team environment at Clayton Retail centers, contributing to a positive customer journey.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for customers using marketing methods such as web marketing, signage, and flyers.
• Set appointments using prospecting and fielding ad calls.
• Answer prospect inquiries and greet visitors at the retail location.
• Demonstrate homes to prospects using feature-benefit approaches.
• Turn over prospects to Sales Professional/Manager when applicable.
• Schedule set-up and delivery and other service-related items.
• Follow-up with customers via various contact methods.
• Maintain office and model home showroom atmosphere and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with manager on exceptions and questions.
• Participate in sales meetings and company events.
• Support other Sales Professionals as needed.
