Job summary

Eide Mandan Subaru in Mandan, ND is seeking a Sales Assistant to be the first point of contact with customers and build lasting relationships. No automotive sales experience is required, but experience in sales or customer service helps.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Available to work mornings, evenings and Saturdays.
• Customer service experience is a plus; sales experience preferred but not required.
• Background in sports or competitive environments a plus.
• Experience with commission-based sales preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with customers in a professional manner via phone, text, email and in person.
• Build rapport with customers while at the dealership.
• Confirm appointments and prepare vehicles for appointments.
• Prepare vehicles for demonstration drives, including warming up, fueling and cleaning.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and technology to customers.
• Organize necessary paperwork for customers and staff.
• Transport vehicles to wash bay facility.
• Deliver sold vehicles to customers and explain features and technology.
• Transport customer vehicles for accessories installation.
• Resolve customer issues and problems in a professional manner.

Automotive sales experience is not necessary, however, previous experience in sales or customer service-related industries is helpful.
