Job summary

Eide Mandan Ford is looking for a Sales Assistant to join our growing team. We value customer service and offer a long-term career opportunity. Automotive sales experience is not required, but sales or customer service experience helps.

We provide extensive training to succeed in today’s automotive industry and promote internal growth. You will be the first point of contact with customers, building relationships and driving store sales.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Available to work mornings, evenings and Saturdays.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Background in sports or competitive environments is a plus.
• Experience with commission-based sales.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via phone, text, email and in person.
• Build rapport with customers while at the dealership.
• Confirm appointments and prepare vehicles for appointments.
• Prepare vehicles for demonstration drives: warm up, fuel, clean.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and technology to customers.
• Organize paperwork for customers and staff.
• Transport vehicles to the wash bay facility.
• Deliver sold vehicles and explain features in detail.
• Transport customer vehicles for accessories installation.
• Resolve customer issues professionally.

Automotive sales experience is not necessary, however, previous experience in sales or customer service-related industries is helpful.
