Job summary

FOX Television Stations New York is seeking a detail‑oriented Sales Assistant to support the national accounts team and sales managers across broadcast and digital platforms. You will help with order entry, revisions, and reporting in WideOrbit, while coordinating with sales representatives on preempts, changes, and invoicing.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced media environment. A degree is preferred, with benefits including health, 401(k), and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives with advertising order entry, revisions, and reporting in the WideOrbit Traffic system.
• Communicate with sales representatives and buyers regarding preempts, make-good offers, program changes, late runs, and other account activity.
• Provide weekly advertiser reports, including spot times and post reports.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and buyers to address invoicing, discrepancies, and collection issues.
• Support Sales Management with political advertising, including maintaining contracts, ensuring FCC documentation is complete, and verifying cash-in-advance payments.
• Collaborate with the Traffic department on advertising copy management.
• Support other station departments and initiatives as needed.
• Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.
