AMC Global Media in New York, NY is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our Commercial Sales & Revenue Operations team. You will manage booked business and key accounts, develop relationships with agency assistants and buyers, and support Account Directors on all aspects of deal management.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years in sales or internship; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong written and oral communication.

The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our Commercial Sales & Revenue Operations team in our New York, NY location.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Managing booked business and key accountsDeveloping strong relationships with agency assistants and buyersSupporting Account Directors on all aspects of deal managementPreparing all order letters in order to enter deals into the respective systems Sending out traffic instructions and track down tapesMaintaining outlists and cut-off times for their respective Account Directors.Sending flowcharts and log times to agenciesResolving discrepancies with agency assistants/buyers and negotiating makegoods.Entering sales plans into WideOrbit.Processing allocations, flighting and move requests.QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)Bachelor's degree0-2 Years relevant experiencePrevious position in sales environment or internship experience a plusMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc)Strong written, oral, and communication skillsThe base compensation for this position is $47,500 commensurate with experience.
