Raco Steel Company is seeking a Sales Assistant to join the growing sales team in the South Suburban Chicago area. You will review orders, verify specs, enter data in ERP/CRM, and coordinate with Sales, Production, and Shipping to ensure timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review customer purchase orders and verify specifications, pricing, and order details before processing.
• Enter and maintain customer orders within the Company's ERP and CRM systems.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Shipping, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, deliveries, and order-related questions.
• Prepare customer specification sheets, pricing quotations, sales reports, and other sales documentation.
• Assist with marketing initiatives, customer email campaigns, promotional materials, and marketing inventory.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the Company's CRM system.
• Support the Sales team with administrative tasks while learning the sales process and customer relationship management.

What You'll Do
