Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a Sales Application Engineer in Cranberry Twp, PA. The role focuses on maintaining customer relationships, visiting customers in person, conducting application testing, and assisting with product selection to develop solutions.

You will prepare proposals and conduct timely follow-ups, leveraging PLC/electrical/pneumatic knowledge and CAD tools to support customers across manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills; ideally in manufacturing/automation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Understand PLC-based controls, electrical and pneumatic systems; read schematics.
• Ideal experience with CAD tools and standard office software.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills; ideally, experience in the manufacturing industry (automation industry is a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• General understanding of PLC-based controls, electrical, and pneumatic systems, including reading and interpreting schematics.
• Ideally, experience with conventional toolroom equipment, i.e., calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, including manual lathes, mills, surface-grinding equipment
• Experience with standard office software packages, e.g., Microsoft products.
• Ideally, experience with CAD software
• Ready to travel up to 20% annually
