AvalonBay Communities is searching for a Sales and Service Supervisor (Assistant Community Manager), a true industry leader who will spearhead our office operations, set new standards for quality, and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living.

The Sales and Service Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Community Manager to maintain and execute an effective sales and marketing strategy, ensuring consistent and positive customer experiences, and helping to coach and train leasing consultants to achieve community goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in determining community sales goals
  • Leasing apartment homes
  • Managing and converting prospect leads
  • Addressing and resolving customer service concerns
  • Assisting in the development and monitoring of programs to maximize revenue and improve customer experience
  • Supporting residents during move-in, lease renewals, move-out, and transfers
  • Updating market surveys
  • Planning and executing resident activities
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing laws

Requirements include:

  • 1-3 years of multifamily or related experience
  • 1 or more years of supervisory or training experience
  • A high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred)
  • Proficiency in administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite
