Job summary

Tate Boys Tire & Auto Service in Sand Springs, OK, is hiring a Service Advisor to be the face of the shop, connecting customers with automotive solutions and helping keep their vehicles safe and reliable.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work in a process-driven environment; prior experience is preferred but not required. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, consisting of hourly pay plus commission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor highly preferred but not required.
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays (but never Sundays!).

Responsibilities

• Warmly greeting customers in person and by phone using our professional standards
• Listening carefully to customer concerns and thoroughly documenting their needs
• Reviewing service history, inspecting vehicles, and verifying repair requirements
• Recommending products and services confidently and clearly
• Accurately preparing quotes, timelines, and repair orders
• Communicating status updates throughout the day
• Reviewing completed work, explaining warranties, and handling checkout
• Following up on declined services and completed repairs to ensure satisfaction
• Tracking all returns, warranty parts, and core parts for each customer
• Supporting the team with other duties as needed

What You’ll Do
