Qualifications

Job description

Country Casual Teak is looking for an individual with an eye for detail to support the company's Sales Team. The Sales and Marketing Support Specialist will assist outside and inside sales staff by entering orders and proposals and prepare documents to be sent to customers and prospects. They will communicate with the sales staff regularly and help communicate with select customers. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• The ability to enter orders and proposals
• Proper grammar, tone, empathy, etc. in communications with customers through email and phone
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information
• The ability to multi-task and be a team-player

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enter orders and proposals using the company's CRM and ERP tools
• Prepare sales collateral and formal proposals/presentations
• Facilitate the maintenance and integrity of the CRM database
• Help clients by phone, web chat and email
• Use CRM to establish baseline sales metrics and create dashboards to track them
• Work well with the marketing team to research and identify potential leads to create target account lists
• Work closely with established accounts and respond to their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
• Understanding customers' deadlines and working hard to exceed our clients' expectations when it comes to the delivery of information to them
• Monitoring accuracy of information given to customers related to products, warranty and maintenance of products
• Periodically check on unshipped orders and monitor lead times and be able to communicate that with the clients
• Conducts daily quality control of the orders before they are released for processing
• Collaborate with the larger Sales team, Marketing, Customer Service and Operation team
• Have detailed knowledge of the care and maintenance of products and the company's processes
• Be an expert in order and proposal entry as well as customer service processes
• Work well with manager and inside sales staff to ensure customers receive accurate information

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a sales or customer service environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Excellent oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and develop relationships over the phone as well as in person
• Strong computer skills including demonstrated proficient MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools, Zoho CRM experience a plus
• Enthusiastic, goal-oriented with a great attitude and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to learn and fully understand the sales and customer service processes
