Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a Sales Analytics professional to leverage retail data and market insights to drive Purina portfolio growth. You will deliver data-driven recommendations, support Joint Business Planning, and partner with Finance on promotional strategies.

The role focuses on data storytelling, competitive analytics, and actionable reporting to influence retail decisions across major retailers, with travel up to 15%. Local to St. Louis, MO or Scottsdale, AZ preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree +1 year experience working with retail/sales data or within a CPG environment OR High School diploma +4 years experience in category development, sales or marketing analytics

Responsibilities

• Develops 4P Purina portfolio recommendations to drive growth within the assigned business unit
• Provides business overview and analysis to customer teams on progress against market and Joint Business Planning (JBP) objectives
• Assess competitive market activity and provide analytics around risks/opportunities to the Purina portfolio
• Partner with Finance to deliver promotional recommendations on the Purina portfolio to maximize market impact
• Provide data and recommendations around 4P strategy for new distribution using market data
• Provide insights and analytics to support JBP development objectives and initiatives
• Attend monthly retail team meetings to provide business updates, opportunities, or promotional/product mix improvements and key quarter priorities
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and communication for retail initiatives
• Ability to utilize data for storytelling to influence and drive action
