Job summary

Do it Best Corp. in Fort Wayne, IN is offering a Summer 2027 Sales Project Internship in the Lumber & Building Materials division. You will support sales analytics, customer engagement strategies, market research and process improvement, gaining hands-on experience.

The role runs May 17 to August 13, 2027, is paid hourly, with no relocation required. Local candidates only and college credit may be earned. You will work under the Director of LBM Operations and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Must be highly organized, driven and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create dashboards on our data analytics platform to build reports/dashboards that tell a complete data story.
• Participate in an Operational Excellence Project applying Six Sigma/Lean principles.
• Participate in a product line review with Millwork and Interior Solutions, including cost and pricing analysis and development of sales tools.
