Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Sales Ambassador to engage customers, sample products, and promote healthy living in a fast-paced store environment.

You will assist with food preparation, uphold food safety guidelines, and support event activities while working closely with store teams to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to engage customers and drive sales by sharing product details.
• Strong communication and rapport-building with store team and customers.
• Ability to stand at the tasting station for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery items.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing products and encouraging trials.
• Coordinating event activities: setup, takedown, and communications in dept meetings.
• Managing sample supplies and inventory; creating event recaps in SharePoint.
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Completing assigned online trainings to build knowledge.

Overview Of Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products
• Coordinating all event activities, including:
  • Event setup and takedown
  • Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings
  • Managing sample supply and sample product inventory
  • Preparing event recaps via SharePoint
• Maintaining program specific equipment
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
