Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Sales Ambassador to greet customers, sample products, and share knowledge in a fast-paced, friendly store environment.

You will help customers discover healthy options, assist with in-store events, and contribute to achieving sales goals while upholding food safety standards and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• High energy with a passion for Sprouts products.
• Thrives on customer engagement and selling products.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Ability to follow cooking directions and work at the tasting station.
• Experience in customer service, sales, marketing or event planning.
• Strong communication and rapport with store teams.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products.
• Coordinating all event activities, including event setup and takedown, communications, and sample inventory.
• Maintaining program specific equipment and adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Completing assigned online trainings to build knowledge base.

Overview of Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products
• Coordinating all event activities, including:
  • Event setup and takedown
  • Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings
  • Managing sample supply and sample product inventory
  • Preparing event recaps via SharePoint
• Maintaining program specific equipment
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
• High energy with a passion for Sprouts product
• Thrives on customer engagement
• Ability to suggestively sell product
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to follow cooking directions
• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours
