Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a Sales Ambassador who enjoys helping customers discover healthy, great-tasting products in a fast-paced, friendly setting.

You will engage customers, sample products, assist with food preparation using induction cooktops and small appliances, support event activities, and strive to meet sales goals while following food-safety guidelines and completing trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Energetic, customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Ability to engage customers and promote products.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products.
• Coordinating all event activities, including:
• Event setup and takedown.
• Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings.
• Managing sample supply and sample product inventory.
• Preparing event recaps via SharePoint.
• Maintaining program specific equipment.
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base.

Overview Of Responsibilities

Qualifications

Pay range

The pay range for this position is $17.30 - $24.20 / hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
