Job summary

RevOps Careers is recruiting for a Technical Sales Rep for a global plastics and polymers company. This remote role supports the Mid South region (GA, NC, SC, etc.) with significant travel and a base salary plus bonus potential.

Strong technical polymer knowledge and 7+ years of sales experience are required. BS degree in a related engineering or chemistry field is mandatory; prior technical service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, plastics engineering, materials engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of commercial or sales experience in the polymer industry.
• Experience with thermoplastics, additives, polyolefins, resins; prior technical service a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and prospect for new customers.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts.
• Conduct prospecting and solutions selling to close deals.
• Manage travel 50% or more to support customers and opportunities.

Global plastics and polymers company with over 2,500 employees that has been in business for over 75 years has an exciting opportunity available for a Technical Sales Rep. This a remote position and can be based anywhere in the Mid South area including Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina etc.

Requirements

• BS Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, plastics engineering, materials engineering, or related engineering degree is required.
• Must have at least 7 years of commercial or sales experience in the polymer industry.
• Experience with thermoplastics, plastic additives, polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, polyolefins, plastic additives, PVC, compounding, extrusion, injection molding, or plastic resins would be a plus.
• Prior technical service experience would be a plus.
