J. P. Mascaro & Sons, based in Trooper, PA, seeks a Sales Account Manager for the Nanticoke/Allentown area to grow our environmental services business.

You will be the first contact with new customers, representing the company with professionalism and accuracy. Responsibilities include identifying new business, meeting monthly sales targets, expanding our presence in assigned territories, analyzing accounts for accurate quotes, performing daily cold calls, and maintaining sales reports for

Description

J. P. Mascaro & Sons is a locally owned and operated private family owned company who has been experiencing record growth and success. In 1964, it started with one truck. We have grown into one of the largest most successful fully integrated environmental companies serving the mid-Atlantic area.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to grow our successful Environmental Services business. Lower Monroe, Luzerne and Carbon County residents preferred.

This position is often the first contact with new customers, so professionalism and accuracy are imperative. The Account Manager must represent the Company in the highest of standards, requiring strong communication and negotiation skills.

Essential Functions:

• Identify potential new business.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Increase Company presence in assigned territories.
• Analyze accounts to ensure the prospective customer is being quoted accurately and the proper solutions are being implemented.
• Perform cold calls daily to prospective customers.
• Maintain sales reports and submit them to their superior.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• A strong customer service focus and excellent customer service skills that meet the requirements of the company.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to carryout oral and written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers, employees, managers, officials, and the general public.
• Knowledge and/or experience of applicable sales practices and company policies and procedures as they pertain to the Sales Department.

Training and Experience:

• A minimum 1-3 years experience as a sales professional performing outside sales, preferably in a solutions and service industry.
• A college degree or equivalent work experience.
• A grasp of sales and negotiation tactics and practices.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products.

• Ability to sit for long periods of time.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to operate a telephone and a personal computer for long periods of time.
