Main Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Customer Relations - Identify new opportunities, maintain, and improve the value of existing business, and grow positive customer relations.
  • Sales Plan - Create, execute, and deliver continuous improvement of the business plan with focus toward growing revenue, contribution, and customer value.
  • Bid & Contracts - Develop strategies, collaborate with prospective customers, and work with cross functional teams to establish a quality business relationship.
  • Compliance - Adhere to and role model OOCL competition compliance polices & procedures in all business activities.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of Industry experience (ocean transportation, steamship industry)
  • Required Travel: 25%, or as needed to cover the sales territory
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle is required as this is an outside sales position
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint

The annualized base salary for this position ranges from $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 excluding fringe benefits.If hired at OOCL, the final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.In addition to those factors, we also consider internal equity as part of any final offer.Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.All full-time employees enjoy these outstanding benefits, while in a safe, friendly, clean, business casual office environment.
