Compensation: $85,000k - $95,000k + bonus

Our team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join us in supporting and expanding our client relationships.

Position Summary

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of mid to large commercial accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. This role involves working directly with clients, producers, and underwriters to place and service a broad range of commercial insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business with a focus on service, retention, and account rounding
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering timely, accurate, and professional service
  • Coordinate the marketing and placement of new and renewal business with carriers
  • Review and analyze client coverage, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Prepare proposals, coverage summaries, and renewal documentation
  • Handle policy endorsements, audits, certificates, and billing issues
  • Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system
  • Collaborate closely with producers and underwriters to meet client needs and agency goals
  • Stay current on industry trends and carrier guidelines

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management
  • Property & Casualty license required
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages (GL, WC, Auto, Property, Umbrella, etc.)
  • Experience with agency management systems (e.g., Epic, AMS360, Applied TAM) preferred
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
